1:00 pm Movement and Art Workshop: led by Jess Morehead
We will be using the natural elements around us to think outside the box and create. There will be NO canvases for this workshop, instead we will be using mixed media found in the natural surroundings, (ie: sticks and rocks) to express our own personal feminine divinity. The workshop will begin with guided meditation and some discussion about spirituality through art, and we will then break to create on an individual level.
3:00 pm Self Protection and Safety in the Wild
We will discuss how to keep ourselves safe when going out into the wilderness, whether alone or with others. Learn what items are essential to bring along on any hike or camping trip, what signs to be aware of when looking for danger, and what to do if danger presents itself.
